    i went hoping to see a good game. at least on paper it appeared to be the best matchup of the day. pv came out with a 7-1 or 8-1 win. the burke kid threw a complete game and struck out quite a few burton hitters. pv scored 5 or 6 in the first and never looked back. begley started for burton. shupe wound up using 3 or 4 different pitchers.
